A simple recipe for adding some kick to your mulled cider. Perfect for cold nights!
Instructions
- Place the mulling spices in a cheesecloth bag or tea ball.
- Put the cider in a pot, add the mulling spices and brown sugar. Simmer for ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and discard the mulling spices.
- Add the rum.
- Before serving, rim glasses with butter and cinnamon.
Tips
Use 1 tsp vanilla extract instead of brown sugar for a deeper flavor!
