A simple recipe for adding some kick to your mulled cider. Perfect for cold nights!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place the mulling spices in a cheesecloth bag or tea ball.
  2. Put the cider in a pot, add the mulling spices and brown sugar. Simmer for ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and discard the mulling spices.
  4. Add the rum.
  5. Before serving, rim glasses with butter and cinnamon.

Tips

Use 1 tsp vanilla extract instead of brown sugar for a deeper flavor!
